  • Changes Us to Who we are and Who God wants us to be.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_N6sn1LLX8&feature=youtube_gdata_player

You can never fall too hard, so fast, so far that you can't get back what you lost where you are. Its never too late so bad so much that you cant change who you are.

I love the part mentioned- We change to who we are and who God wants us to be, it's a process and noting can separate us from the love of Christ as we look to the cross.

  • Van Gogh 1853-1890

When asked how it was possible to visit three churches of such divergent creeds? Van Gogh said ''Well in every church, I see God and its all the same to me whether a protestant pastor or a roman catholic priest preaches, it is not really a matter of dogma, but of the spirit of the gospel, and i find this spirit in all churches"

On another occasion, he expressed his opinion in these terms: For what's the use of a beautiful body? Animals have it too perhaps more than man, but the soul as it lives in the people painted by Israels or Millet or Frere, that is what animals never have. Is not life given to us to become richer in spirit, even though the outward appearance may suffer.

What does it matter personally than! I feel so strongly that it is the same with people as it is with wheat, if you are not sown in the earth to germinate, what does it matter? In the end, you are the ground between the milestones to become bread.

The difference between happiness an unhappiness! Both are useful and necessary as well as death or disappearance... It is so relative and life is the same.

"It is not the language of painters but the language of nature which one should listen to, the feeling for the things themselves, for reality is more important than the feeling for pictures."

    ~Vincent Van Gogh

  • Where do i find Queenie's? My mates say those gays are the real deal, the sex and the city kind :)

I'd really like a gay bestie to hang out with and do medi/pedi together and then shopping, the sheer joy of trying on clothes and shoes and knowing you'd look hot cos gays have awesome fashion sense.

You have the best fun ever cos you know, your gay's got your back and he may even pass off as your bf in the club if there's a need for it. I'd totes would have bubble bathes with my gay bestie.

Best thing is gays do not PMS ever.

I'd say every girl's gotta have a gay friend!

  • The power of our 'Words'

A Japanese scientist, Dr Masaru Emoto who discovered that molecules of water are affected by our thoughts, words and feelings.

He produced photographs that illustrate how, when water is frozen, the crystal reveals the concentrated thoughts that has been directed towards the water when it was liquid.

Dr Emoto believes that words are an expression of the soul and that the condition of our soul is likely to have a large impact on the water that makes up as much as 70% of our body.

Bad words negatively affect the structure of water, whereas good words helps the water crystal take beautiful shapes.

Interestingly, Dr Emoto says that the language we use and the words we chose are vitally important.

Have you ever felt negative words spoken over you crushed your spirit or words that melts your heart

I suppose which is why there are phrases or songs like cuts like a knife, shattered dreams, broken heart.

As our words have such power and energy, lets be discerning about how and what we speak :)

  • Intervention

As some of you may know, i teach primary school science and mathematics, being a teacher, i get parents asking me if their kids needs tutoring and "really it depends on your kids progress".

Every child is different, some needs a little push, esp with a linear subject like Maths, the need for intervention is absolutely necessary.

You cannot just depend on the teacher and expect your kid to be a genius, children needs extra coaxing at home too.

If the child is already struggling with a particular mathematical concept, it's gonna be a struggle to master advance mathematical concepts or formula.

Just because, a child received poor grades in school or shows no interest in the subject doesn't mean he or she is inadequate, it just means, the subject is boring and this is when you child needs a tutor and equips the child with knowledge as they are trained to and make the subject as interesting as possible.

My parents took it up a notch and bought those expensive brain booster milkshakes that came in many flavour that tasted yucky for me to drink when i was young not like it helped me in maths...

I never really enjoyed mathematics and wasn't my strongest subject either but i only got better because of the tutoring i received and not some brain booster milkshake..:P lol

  • the mating ritual

Sometimes, when I'm out with my girlfriends on the dance floor, it feels like I'm in the middle of a mating ritual. The exchange of intense glares and pouts by both sexes.

The man fist pump to emphasise their masculinity and dominance while the women response by dancing together in groups that acts like a strong force shield.

I just think it's funny that when you hit the restroom, you'd find a long line of women just touching up their make-up, adjusting their breasts...

Makes me wonder how did a female neanderthals/ cave woman attracted a mate. Lol

    I know it's so random... o_O

How long do you take to decide on getting a tatt?

I've been contemplating on getting it at the side of my hips or at the back like the picture.

I'd like a tatt like this.
